Nico Mannion is on the fringes of Sergio Scariolo’s rotation

Virtus Bologna brought great joy to its fans with a victory over Real Madrid in the match valid for the fifth day of the Euroleague.

However, Nico Mannion, who was not used by coach Sergio Scariolo and is on the fringes in the Brescia coach’s rotations, did not take part in the on-court celebration.

The former Golden State Warriors player, is finding little space this early in the season after having had a good Eurobasket with Gianmarco Pozzecco’s national team.

Mannion’s farewell to Virtus, already seemed plausible in the summer, with the point guard’s desire to make a return overseas but, the exclusion from the Summer League had put off the class of 2001, who decided to stay in Bologna.

Now several tracks could open for the former NBA player, not only in Italy, but also in teams participating in the Euroleague.
