Stefan de Vrij’s surprise move.
The former Lazio man is on the verge of changing prosecutors
After so many months, the last few, in which practically everyone took for granted his farewell on a zero-parameter basis at the end of the year – the player had moved right to Inter in the summer of 2018, freeing himself from Lazio – Stefan De Vrij may have changed his mind.
Persistently approached during the last market session by many English bigs – Tottanham above all – the oranje defender is preparing to discuss the renewal proposal that Nerazzurri Ad Beppe Marotta will submit to him in the coming weeks. The turnaround coincides with the decision to drop his agent, Rafaela Pimenta, who holds his power of attorney after the demise of the player’s longtime prosecutor, the late Mino Raiola.
De Vrij, as reported by ‘La Gazzetta dello Sport,’ will link up with Federico Pastorello, who is already on excellent terms with the Nerazzurri management staff, as evidenced by the last negotiation that saw the arrival in Milan of Francesco Acerbi. All indications are that, with the intermediation of the new agent, the defender could extend his working relationship with Inter, who would like to keep him to themselves with an agreement until 2025.
