MotoGp, Marco Bezzecchi sees the glass half full
The centaur of the Mooney VR46 Racing Team spoke after Friday’s free practice session
At the end of the first day of free practice at Valencia’s ‘Ricardo Torma’ circuit, the last round of the MotoGP, Marco Bezzecchi finished 15th in the combined FP1 and FP2 standings.
The Mooney VR46 Racing Team centaur recorded a time of 1′ 32″ 159 in the first session, and then improved in the second, stopping the clock on 1′ 31″ 014 and remaining eight tenths away from the best of the day: teammate Luca Marini, first with a time of 1′ 30″ 217.
“A decent day, although I was hoping for something better. In FP1 I struggled a lot, while in FP2 it was better. In the time attack I was not effective and I need to step up my riding and on the bike to be really competitive. The pace is not bad, but we have margin. We continue to work for another step forward,” Bezzecchi told his team’s official channels.
