De Raffaele fears the talent of Buscaglia’s men

Reyer Venezia coach Walter De Raffaele in a press conference presented the challenge, valid for the sixth day of the Lba championship, which will see his Reyer Venezia opposing GeVi Napoli.

The Orogranata, who have reeled off three wins in the first five days of the championship and are fresh off their second success in the EuroCup season, will host Maurizio Buscaglia’s men.

“Here comes a team that I think really has a lot of talent, especially in the outside, with the ability to create a lot of one-on-one and shooting situations, especially from 3-point range, even from important distances. I think they will recover Emmitt Williams, but in any case it is a team that when it can express itself in the open court, as was also seen at the Jesolo tournament, has a lot of possibilities to make a basket,” admitted the coach of the Veneto team.

“I think we will have to have the ability to limit precisely this characteristic of being able to exploit their firepower and also the dynamism of Jacorey Williams in the centers and then to make them attack as much as possible in our half-court. In addition to that, Napoli is a team that also has a great propensity for rebounding, so I think rebound control will be just as important, as it often is. Today we had the first half practice in which Parks was also seen, so we will see between now and Sunday what choices to make, also depending on the opponent and the availability of individuals,” De Raffaele continued.
