Jannik Sinner barring miraculous recoveries will not participate in the Davis Cup Finals in Malaga.

This was pre-announced by Ubitennis, adding that Lorenzo Sonego will probably be called up to complete Filippo Volandri’s team with Matteo Berrettini, Fabio Fognini and Simone Bolelli.

The South Tyrolean, when the Final Eight is ten days away, has not yet fully recovered from his hand problem and therefore barring any surprises will forgo the call-up.

Sinner by the way has not been included among the Azzurri who will take part in the United Cup, the new mixed-team event that will kick off the 2023 season.
