The ‘Sergeant’ has not yet reached an agreement with Lazio to renew his contract expiring in 2024

Pursued by Juve, and other top clubs, for at least the past three years, armored by biancoceleste president Claudio Lotito who has always made a wall by demanding figures above 90 million, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic could be at a turning point in what concerns his future.

The agreement to renew his contract with Lazio, due to expire in 2024, is delaying: the ‘Old Lady’ management is reportedly sniffing the opportunity to bring the decisive assault on the phenomenal Serbian midfielder. As early as Friday, in fact, Mateja Kezman, the player’s agent, met with representatives of the Bianconeri club with a view to a possible agreement. To be found perhaps before the World Cup in Qatar.

Setting aside for now the impossible dream of snatching the Slav from Lazio already in the next January market, Federico Cherubini and partners are working to find a principle of agreement with the entoruage of the player before the World Cup. Only then would the Bianconeri club sit down at the table with Lotito to figure out how much the price tag would amount to. Kezman himself had already ‘warned’ the biancoceleste patron not to drag out the renewal negotiations too long, but assured that he could keep everything on hold until the beginning of 2023. In the meantime, however, Juve has strongly inserted itself, determined to give itself what would be the first blow in yet another revolution on the market.
