Milan anxious: bad shoulder injury for Sandro Tonali
Milan anxious: Tonali out with injury during Albania-Italy
Bad news is coming for Stefano Pioli’s AC Milan: in fact, during the friendly match between Albania and Italy, Sandro Tonali was forced to leave the pitch on a stretcher due to a bad fall in which he hit his head and shoulder.
It was immediately apparent that the problem was shoulder-related, with the player of the Italian champions, replaced by Samuele Ricci, looking very sore.
According to reports from Rai Sport, damage to the spine should be ruled out, but more will only be known in the coming days, when the midfielder will undergo investigations.
Fortunately for Milan, it will be almost two months before he returns to the pitch, but the stoppage for the Qatar 2022 World Cup could not have started in a worse way for the Milanese club.
