Robert Lewandowski ends up in detention
It will be quite some time before we see Robert Lewandowski back in a Barcelona shirt in La Liga. The Catalans’ Polish bomber, who was sent off in the match with Osasuna, was handed a three-day suspension.
The former Bayern Munich striker, in addition to the derby with Espanyol, will miss challenges with Atletico Madrid and Getafe.
So when he returns after the break for the World Cup si Qatar 2022, Xavi and the Blaugrana, who currently occupy first place in La Liga (with 37 points in 14 games), will have to make up for Lewandowski’s long absence.
In the rainbow review, Poland will be engaged in Group C, along with Argentina, Saudi Arabia and Mexico.
