Irving suspended for anti-Semitic phrases

Irving is about to put behind him the tough time he experienced after the anti-Semitic statements that led to his suspension by the Nets (without pay). ESPN reveals that the All Star is expected to return to the court Sunday in the Brooklyn-Memphis showdown.

So, after two weeks in the pits, Irving will return to play (to be seen how he will be received by fans). “He has had to deal with the weight of the impact of his voice and the consequences caused by his words, particularly in the Jewish community. Kyrie rejects anti-Semitism in any form and is dedicated to improving himself and increasing his level of understanding of the issue,” the words of Tremaglio, National Basketball Players Association executive director, to ESPN.
