Palermo steps up for Machin
Who knows how Pisa would have fared without Jose Machin’s goal when the Nerazzurri won 2-0. Many Monza fans wondered that in the aftermath of the match at the Arena Garibaldi from which the Biancorossi emerged with promotion to the A league.
In the top division, due to overcrowding in the nerve department, the Guinean is finding little space: Palermo is monitoring the situation and could soon knock on Adriano Galliani’s door.
Against Juventus, Monza won its first Serie A match on September 18. The red and white team, which had been in the charge of Raffaele Palladino in the previous week, won 1-0 against the Bianconeri thanks to a goal scored by Christian Gytkjaer.
