Mooney VR46 driver unveils goal for next season
Luca Marini talked about his second season in MotoGp: the Mooney VR46 Racing Team rider took stock of the championship that just ended, where he placed 12th overall.
“The second part of the championship, from the point of view of results was incredible. I’m really positive for 2023 because this season we learned, we grew and for next year we have to aim high, for victory,” the centaur revealed to the team’s official channels.
“Would I have signed for these results at the beginning of the season? I would say instead for something more. I knew I could do well, I knew I could be competitive, even without signing,” Marini later admitted.
Finally, the Mooney VR46 Racing Team rider explained when the turning point of 2022 was: “Between the Le Mans and Mugello races something changed. There we found a very good base at the setting level that we then exploited during the rest of the season. Right after the GP in Jerez we had a day of testing and, for the first time since the off season, we were able to work on all the aspects that on the race weekend, given the timing of the rounds, we don’t have time to take care of.”
