F1, Ferrari: Stefano Domenicali draws analogy with Mattia Binotto
Formula One Group ad draws an analogy with Binotto
Stefano Domenicali, chairman and CEO of the Formula One Group, in statements to ‘Sky Uk’, drew an analogy between his experience with Ferrari and what happened to the now former team principal of the Prancing Horse Mattia Binotto.
“I found myself in the same position many years ago, under the same circumstances. I want to wish him to stay focused and to believe in himself,” the Formula 1 number 1 explained.
“I don’t want to get into the dynamics of the team, but I certainly want to wish them the best for the future. When you are second with Ferrari, it is a result that is not enough,” Domenicali continued.
The F1 ad then concluded with a hope for the future: “I hope they can find the right solution, because they have made a great recovery from two years ago. We need a competitive Ferrari that has a good, strong team with equally strong drivers to fight against the others. I am sure there will be more teams ready to fight for victory. The goal and hope is to get to the last race with a good sporting fight on the track, and all the conditions are there. Everyone is looking forward to the first race in Bahrain.”
