Jorge Lorenzo returned to talk about Valentino Rossi: “We all benefited from his presence.”
Former Motogp centaur Jorge Lorenzo in an interview with Motorbike Magazine returned to talk about Valentino Rossi, explaining how the figure of the Doctor was decisive for the popularity of the sport and all other riders.
“His figure has helped the sport a lot in terms of popularity. And Valentino Rossi’s great rivals benefited from his popularity in a certain way. We had a strong character that was different from Valentino’s,” the Majorcan rider explained.
“Now people still have to get used to the new riders, who apart from some like Marc Marquez or Quartararo, still lack the charisma and character that existed in previous years.”
