Qatar 2022, Spain fans no longer want Luis Enrique
Elimination with Morocco weighs like a boulder
Spain exited the World Cup in the round of 16 by Morocco. It was an immense disappointment for the fans of the Red Furies who, through a poll called by Marca, made it clear, in no uncertain terms, that Luis Enrique must make a change.
In fact, 77 percent of voters have called for a change of coach on the Spain bench. Luis Enrique is indicated as the number one person responsible for the World Cup debacle and, for that reason, they would like a new coach to lead Spain. Surprisingly, the most popular name to take Luis Enrique’s place is that of Roberto Martinez, Spain’s coach who is fresh from the poor showing with Belgium in Qatar.
