Shocking news shook the soccer world on the sidelines of the quarterfinal match between the Netherlands and Argentina: Grant Wahl, an American journalist for CBS, died at just 49 years old after feeling ill in the press room at the start of extra time of the match between the Oranje and the Albiceleste. Wahl, according to a report in the ‘Wall Street Journal,’ was transported to a hospital near the Lusail Iconic Stadium, but help could not prevent his death.
