Horner and Verstappen returned to the Interlagos incident.

New Red Bull dig at Lewis Hamilton: specifically coming from the Austrian team principal Christian Horner and two-time world champion Max Verstappen.

At the party in Milton Keynes, Red Bull’s headquarters, the British executive did not hold back: “We have been going all year and Verstappen has not done a single damage to the car. Not even a broken wing. Nothing. And then we went to Brazil. So maybe we could ask Max what happened with a certain Mercedes driver.”

“Our car didn’t like that corner,” Verstappen continued, rehashing the point, in reference to the Interlagos incident with the seven-time world champion.

It was Sebastian Vettel who was the first driver to win a world championship with Red Bull. The German put everyone in line for four years in a row, from 2010 to 2013. The Austrian stable returned to success in 2021 thanks to Dutchman Max Verstappen, with the son of art repeating the following year. If there was a battle to the last in 2021, that was not the case in 2022.
