Runway from Naples for the granata

At Salernitana, people are looking to the January soccer market window to reinforce the squad available to coach Davide Nicola ahead of the second half of the season, after the return from the World Cup break in Qatar.

The Campania club’s management is probing the different possibilities in the departments most in need of intervention: the first of which is certainly the midfield. The latest track that has emerged is all from Campania and has as its direct interested the midfielder of Napoli, Serie A’s leader, Diego Demme.

The German former Red Bull Leipzig player, among others, in the current season has definitely lost his starting place following the explosion of Stanislav Lobotka, promoted by Luciano Spalletti to the partenopei’s first director and irreplaceable in the Tuscan coach’s eleven.

The track remains viable but still uphill, given the demands of President De Laurentiis, who would like to set up a loan negotiation with right or obligation of redemption for the 1991 class, while the management of Iervolino’s club, at the moment, would like to operate only on a free basis.
