Negotiations on renewal of deal between Roma and Zaniolo continue

Claudio Vigorelli, agent of Nicolò Zaniolo, spoke to ‘La Gazzetta dello Sport’ about the negotiations for the renewal of his client’s contract with Roma, which expires in 2024.

“There is no darkness,” the intermediary immediately clarified, “relations with Roma are excellent and we agree with Pinto that we will talk later about the renewal, when the management deems it appropriate.

“Now it is time to focus on performance and on matters related to the field, there are no problems with Roma but it is normal that the player is followed by many important clubs,” Vigorelli added. “We are always ready to deal with the Giallorossi because Nicolò is very well at Roma.

Zaniolo arrived at Roma in 2018 as part of the negotiations with Inter that would bring Radja Nainggolan to Milan. He won the 2021/22 Conference League with the Giallorossi, scoring the decisive goal in the final against Feyenoord in Tirana.
