Alex Vinatzer, who withdrew during the first run of the men’s giant slalom in Alta Badia due to a straddle, went to the SportClinic in Ortisei, where he underwent an MRI under the supervision of the FISI Medical Commission, which showed a small meniscal lesion, with consequent edema in his right knee, which will be treated with physiotherapy in the coming days.
“I will do my best to participate in the slalom in Madonna di Campiglio on Thursday, Dec. 22, an appointment I really care about. We will make a final decision only the day before the race.”
