In all likelihood Eldor Shomurodov will leave Roma in the January market: the striker has never fit into Jose Mourinho’s plans and would like a change of scenery to regain continuity and minutes. Three clubs are on his trail: Sampdoria, Torino and Cremonese.
At the moment, Urbano Cairo’s club is in pole position: Toro has been following the player for some time and, also considering Pietro Pellegri’s numerous injuries, could pour into the Giallorossi’s coffers the 10 million euros asked by Friedkin to free Shomurodov. Sampdoria and Cremonese are behind: they have been on the footballer’s trail only in the last few days and would like to sign him on loan, an option unwelcome by Roma.
