De Raffaele puts his hands out before derby
Prominent in Monday’s packed basketball schedule is the derby between Treviso and Venice.
“We meet Treviso in its best moment,” noted Reyer coach Walter De Raffaele: two consecutive wins, the last of which was in Tortona, where you don’t win by chance. So we find a team that is certainly very motivated, plus it will be an away derby, so there are all the elements for it to be another tough game. But the results show in general how difficult a league it is, where every team is fighting for its own goals, so you need to have the utmost concentration and attention. Treviso is not only Banks or Iroegbu, who did objectively well in Tortona, there will be other protagonists, although these two certainly are offensive lights. But I think the rebounding struggle will also be an important element because Cook himself had an important game in this aspect.”
