Valentino Rossi prepares for first engagement of the year

Rossi will open his 2023 in Dubai

Valentino Rossi hit the track ahead of his first engagement of 2023: the Dubai 24 Hours to be held between Saturday, January 14 and Sunday, January 15. The Doctor will race for Team WRT along with Tim Whale, Sean Gelael, Max Hesse and Maxime Martin.

After the first day of testing, the number 46 entrusted his feelings to stories spread via his official Instagram profile: “The first day of testing was very good. It was my first time seeing this track, it’s fun and interesting, and I had good feelings with the car.”

“We did a lot of things, even a long run where I was quite fast. At the end I put on the new tires and did a very good lap, I’m half a second from first and in 6th place. I’m also happy because the car drives well, we still need to fix a few things but it’s easy and I really enjoyed it,” the nine-time MotoGP winner continued.
