Tense stories between Belinelli and Scariolo
According to a report in Gazzetta dello Sport, there are allegedly frictions between Scariolo, coach of Virtus Bologna, and Belinelli, the team’s 37-year-old all-star. The NBA champion with the San Antonio Spurs is reportedly not at all happy with his minutes in the Euroleague.
In fact, to date, Belinelli has never had as many opportunities to shine in the Euroleague (one of the reasons he returned to Virtus Bologna). That’s already 10 NEs in Europe’s top tournament, a bit too many for the status of Beli, who, however, has never externalized his disappointment. Coach Scariolo, for his part, continues on his way, giving no weight to rumors.
