Inter, bad news for Simone Inzaghi after derby win
Simone Inzaghi will still have to do without Correa
Despite the happiness and euphoria of the victory in Sunday night’s derby, bad news also comes for Inter and Simone Inzaghi. In fact, the Nerazzurri coach will have to do without striker Joaquin Correa again, who was already absent against Milan.
“Joaquin Correa underwent clinical-instrumental examinations today at the Humanitas Institute in Rozzano. The examinations showed a distraction of the semimembranosus muscle of the right thigh. His condition will be re-evaluated next week,” reads the note released by the meneghina club through its official channels.
The former Lazio man will definitely miss the match scheduled on Monday, February 13 against Sampdoria. At home, Inter is hoping to recover the Argentine before the first leg of the Champions League round of 16 against Porto, but more likely we will be able to see Correa again for the match against Bologna on Feb. 26.
