Milan, Pioli preaches caution on Ibrahimovic
Coach Pioli’s words on the eve of the match with Torino
Stefano Pioli gave a press conference presentation on the upcoming challenge of the Rossoneri, who are engaged on Friday night with Torino in the advance of the 22nd day of Serie A.
The Diavolo coach began with the return of Zlatan Ibrahimovic among the summoned players: “Ibrahimovic is better, the autonomy is almost zero because he did a half training and today’s finishing. His role is a great motivator and a great player. He will be with us tomorrow because he wants to be with us. Out of the UEFA list? There are no regrets and neither does he. His guarantee is too limited. Everyone says in a month maybe he will be ready, but I can control my choices and what my players do.”
He then also commented on Rafael Leao and Charles De Ketelaere: “Leao is important for me and for the team. He came back from the World Cup, he had to play very well right away in Salerno and then lost a little bit of brilliance. He is well, he is much happier when he plays; I see him very motivated and very focused. De Ketelaere better with the new module? No, there are no winning systems of play, but it is the interpretation that counts.”
