Lazio, emergency in attack for Maurizio Sarri

Ahead of the away match against Sassuolo, scheduled for Saturday at 8:45 p.m., Maurizio Sarri has to deal with more than one problem in attack. Indeed, the conditions of Ciro Immobile and Mattia Zaccagni are worrying.

As for the Biancoceleste bomber, who missed the last league game against Atalanta and was not called up for the national team because of a flexor problem, he is expected to undergo further checks in the coming hours: if the result should be completely negative, the Azzurri striker will take part in the match against the neroverdi; otherwise he will be re-evaluated for the Champions League match against Feyenoord, scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 25.

Different discourse, however, for Mattia Zaccagni, who had joined the national team but had to leave the training camp to recover from his right ankle injury. The Biancoceleste offensive outfielder will conduct instrumental examinations in the coming hours at Formello to verify the extent of the injury and see if he will be able to be there against Sassuolo. In case he does not make it, è Pedro is ready to take his place in coach Sarri’s offensive trident.
