Spal ready to bet on Oddo, De Rossi at the end of the line

Spal has another 2006 world champion in its sights for the bench.
From one world champion to another: the fate of Daniele De Rossi seems sealed after Saturday’s defeat against Venezia. According to Il Resto del Carlino reports, the situation has precipitated after the last three consecutive defeats and Joe Tacopina’s final verdict on the former Roma player’s fate is awaited.
In his place, according to the Bologna daily, Massimo Oddo should arrive: the former AC Milan full-back, who was world champion in 2006 along with De Rossi, is from Pescara like technical director Lupo, with whom he has a great relationship.
In his coaching career Oddo has led Pescara, Udinese, Crotone, Perugia and Padova: it will probably be his turn to save Spal.
