Sbk, Toprak Razgatlioglu shines in Phillip Island tests

First day of Official Test for the MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship at Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit ending with the best time achieved by Toprak Razgatlioglu (Pata Yamaha Prometeon WorldSBK). The three protagonists of the Championship finish on the ground.

Both Jonathan Rea (Kawasaki Racing Team WorldSBK) and Alvaro Bautista (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati) crashed in Turn 4 at about the same time during FP2 while Toprak Razgatlioglu (Pata Yamaha Prometeon WorldSBK) had crashed in Turn 10 a few minutes before the end of FP1.

In FP2 Razgatlioglu placed a 1’30.674 with which he was 99 thousandths ahead of Michael Ruben Rinaldi (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati) and 134 thousandths ahead of Bautista. 215 thousandths late for six-time world champion Jonathan Rea.
