Ducati gets off to a great start at Phillip Island
The new Superbike season has begun in Australia. The first free practice sessions of the new World Championship were staged on the Phillip Island circuit, completely dominated by Bautista. The reigning champion put everyone behind him. confirming that he has a superior pace to any opponent.
Proof of strength, then, of Ducati, which certifies the desire to continue winning in the 2023 World Championship. Bautista was the fastest in both the first and second free practice sessions: 1’30″623 was his best time on track. Of note was the growth, in terms of performance, of Petrucci, again on Ducati. Especially in the second session, both Rea and Razgatlioglu appeared in great difficulty.
