Sunday’s Serie A ended with Milan’s 2-0 victory over Atalanta.
The Rossoneri, with the new fourth uniform unveiled this week, thus moved up to second place in the standings on equal points with Inter, which was defeated in Bologna.
Unlocking the match at the San Siro was an unfortunate back-heel own goal by Musso, after a splendid left-footed volley by Theo Hernandez had been printed on the post. In the 86th minute Messias doubled with a delightful touch underneath.
It was also an evening of great comebacks: from Maignan, absent for five months, to Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who took over in the final after 280 days of injury layoff.
