Pisa, Luca D’Angelo does not hide his disappointment
Luca D’Angelo: “Defeat we don’t deserve.”
At the end of the match that saw Pisa come out of the “Braglia” narrowly defeated (1-0) at the hands of Modena, Luca D’Angelo spoke in the press room, who analyzed the performance of his boys.
“This is a defeat that we do not deserve for the amount of play we produced. My boys gave their best effort, however, they were not as good at concretizing the opportunities in the best possible way,” began the coach of the Tuscans.
“We came close to the penalty area several times touching the goal with Calabresi and Touré in the first half, plus in the second half we had other chances with Masucci, Tramoni and Gliozzi. We lacked concreteness in finishing, but not in conviction. Losing goals in the beginning is always serious especially from a mental point of view, as it can affect the team. We need to be more careful in the first minutes of the match,” D’Angelo concluded.
