Franck Kessié, interviewed by ‘Sport’, has reiterated that he has not regretted his choice to land at Barcelona after his experience at AC Milan, and confirms that he has maximum confidence in the technical project entrusted to Xavi, even beyond this season. Words that try to extinguish, therefore, the market rumors concerning the Ivorian, who has been repeatedly approached by Inter in recent weeks.

“Xavi was decisive,” said the Blaugrana midfielder. “I admired him as a child, and when I saw the phone ringing and him on the other end… I knew that call would change my life. Even just to start talking to him you are impressed, because he is a great champion from the recent past who calls you to try to convince you to join his project.”

“I almost didn’t need time to think, the decision was more than made,” Kessié reiterated, vowed that he would abide by the contract he signed in the summer of 2022.
