Federica Brignone rediscovers herself as a downhill skier and sets her sights on SuperG

Federica Brignone finished fourth in the downhill in Soldue: “I tried to make a difference in the final part of the course and I think I succeeded: I am happy with my race. I like the slope a lot, also in view of the super-giant where I will try my best. Even without the podium it was a very good race.”

“It had been a while since I had done well in the downhill – emphasized the Valle d’Aosta -. At the beginning of the season I did not have a good feeling with the discipline, I had done well in St. Moritz then the abyss, but in the last races I had found again good sensations except, perhaps, in the sliding parts where I still pay a lot. In SuperG I start in a run-up, the opponents are in good shape but I will do my best not to have regrets.”
