F1, Lando Norris blurts out: ‘All false’
F1, Lando Norris categorical: “Market rumors ? They are all inventions.”
During the press conference to present the Jeddah GP, Lando Norris spoke on McLaren’s competitiveness after the negative performance in Bahrain and wanted to shed light on market rumors about him.
“Everyone is making the situation look much worse than it really is. We have made it clear from the very beginning that we are far from where we want to be and should be as a team. But, we have a very clear plan to become competitive again,” the British driver began about McLaren’s ambitions.
“I think I’ve come to a point where market rumors don’t affect me in any way. In a way I’m even okay with it, except when they are outright fabrications or completely false assumptions. I have a contract with Mclaren until 2025, so for the time being I’m not going anywhere,” Norris concluded regarding his possible move to Mercedes in Hamilton’s place.
