Roma, Georginio Wijnaldum clear: “Champions League qualification will not affect my future”

During the interview granted to the microphones of “DAZN” after the success with Sampdoria, Georginio Wijnaldum wanted to clarify about his future in the Giallorossi, as his contract will expire at the end of the season.

“Champions League qualification will not affect my decision. I have already proven it by choosing this club. I willingly came here even without it. I don’t know what will happen this summer. I am comfortable and happy in Rome,” said the Dutch midfielder.

“It was an important success after the last negative results especially because it allows us to stay in touch for the Champions League fight. I am happy with the three points and the goal. From day one the fans have made me feel their support especially when I was injured. I always try to give my best to repay these people,” added the former Liverpool and PSG man.
