Franz Tost optimistic about Mick Schumacher’s future

Franz Tost blunt: “With Micheal present, Mick would still be in F1”

During an interview with the microphones of “Sport1,” the Alpha Tauri team principal addressed Mick Schumacher’s career and the possible changes there would be with dad Michael present.

“If his father was by his side, Mick would still be in F1. Michael’s great personality would have made a difference for him also because he deserves a place in Formula 1. Now he is the third driver for Mercedes. He has to keep his head down and work hard to be ready in case an opportunity arises. I am convinced we will see him back on the track,” said the Alpha Tauri team principal.

On his father’s role, his brother Ralf also commented, “If my brother had been present, Gunther Steiner would have acted differently. I think Michael’s presence alone would have convinced him to give Mick a chance to make mistakes and continue to grow on the track,” added the brother as reported by “F1 insider”
