Djokovic talks about the next “Big 3” and inserts Sinner: “Maybe it’s them”

Novak Djokovic on the eve of the start of the Monte Carlo Masters 1000 tournament spoke about the future of tennis and the possible next Big 3: “Alcaraz has been playing at a very high level for a year and a half now, he has proven to be among the best on every surface.”

“He has already proven that he can win a Slam, and he did it on cement and not on clay as many thought. He is a complete player and has great mentality, plus he is so young.”

Djokovic also spoke about Jannik Sinner: “It’s refreshing to see another rivalry to talk about, like the one between him and Sinner. We’ve seen some exciting matches between the two, even in Miami. I’m sure those two guys, along with Rune, will be among the leaders of the next generation. Maybe they are the next Big 3.”
