Lukaku case, Kalidou Koulibaly is lapidary: “History repeats itself.”
Lukaku case, Koulibaly without mincing words
Romelu Lukaku’s racist insults and controversial jubilation during the Coppa Italia semi-final first leg between Juventus and Inter Milan have resonated globally.
Among the many expressions of support for the Nerazzurri striker is that of Kalidou Koulibaly, who spoke on the subject during an interview with the microphones of the ‘BBC’: “History repeats itself. I hope the Serie A takes serious action this time. I don’t know why certain things keep repeating, there are some stupid people who think they can do whatever they want.”
“I say to Romelu that I am close to him and that I know these feelings because I experienced them on my skin when I was at Napoli. We have to be proud of him and what he did, he just expressed his feelings. I am sorry for what he is going through and we will always support him,” said the former Napoli defender.
