Serie B, Pisa-Bari sub iudice. Fines for the Nerazzurri and 3 other clubs

The outcome of Pisa-Bari remains sub iudice

Decidedly busy Serie B sports judge in the aftermath of the 15th day of Serie B’s return fixture. In addition to imposing one round of disqualification on 14 players, Dr. Ines Pisano fined four clubs for various intemperances and left the outcome of Pisa-Bari, which ended 1-2 on the field, sub-judice due to the pre-announced appeal by the Tuscan club, which disputes an alleged technical error by the match director.

Fines chapter: 5,000 euros for Palermo, “for having its supporters, at the 25th of the first half, throw, in the direction of a player of the opposing team, a glass of water and for having, in addition, at the 49th of the second half, thrown, in the direction of an Assistant, two small bottles of water containing ice; penalty mitigated ex art. 29, paragraph 1 lett. b) CGS”; 3 thousand euros to Modena “for having its supporters, at the 46th of the first half, thrown in the direction of the goalkeeper of the opposing team, a lighter; attenuated penalty ex art. 29, paragraph 1 lett. b) CGS”; 2 thousand euros to Pisa “by way of responsibility for having, at the end of the match, in the locker room, unidentified persons but referable to the Pisa Company, addressed disrespectful criticism to the Match Director”; same amount also for Reggina “for having its supporters, at the 1st of the first half, in their own sector, lit numerous smoke bombs that forced the Referee to interrupt the match for about two minutes and thirty seconds; attenuated penalty ex art. 29, paragraph 1 lett. b) CGS”.

These instead are the players disqualified, all for one day: Marras (Cosenza), Caracciolo, Nagy and Sibilli (Pisa), Crociata, Giraudo and Varela (Cittadella), Ndoj and Rodriguez (Brescia), Pierozzi (Reggina), Azzi (Cagliari), Di Tacchio (Ternana), Meccariello (Spal) and Vicari (Bari).
