Roma, hot track in Brazil: Inter at the window
Roma, eyes on Marcos Leonardo of Santos
One of Roma’s goals in the upcoming soccer market will be to reinforce the offensive department, given the possible departures of Belotti and Abraham and the uncertain future of Dybala. The Giallorossi are reportedly already following several profiles, both prospective and more experienced.
According to several Brazilian media, a hot name would be that of Marcos Leonardo, a 20-year-old forward from Santos, author of 8 goals and 2 assists in 20 games played. The young Brazilian center forward would have a valuation around 20 million euros. However, the Giallorossi will have to deal with competition from several clubs, including Sporting Lisbon and Inter Milan.
Contacts between the parties have reportedly already been initiated, but the main knot remains the rescission clause in the player’s contract of 100 million euros. In the coming weeks there should be new meetings to understand the feasibility of the operation.
