Inter-Milan, Simone Inzaghi takes aim at French referee
Inter coach Simone Inzaghi spoke in these terms about the designation of French referee Turpin for the return match of the Champions League derby against AC Milan: “I hardly talk about it, sometimes I can’t. If I think about the first leg match there was an episode (red missed to Krunic ed) that should have been evaluated in another way and would have given the qualification a very important result. That was not the case and that is perfectly fine. They designated a French referee and friends pointed out to me that Milan has four French players in the squad, but that’s okay.”
Inzaghi, in a press conference on the eve of the highly anticipated San Siro match, then took stock of Lukaku: “You know him, you know what he can do. I as a coach had brought him back here with enthusiasm to see him as we have seen him in the last month. He was supposed to give us this performance throughout the year, both him and Brozovic. Two setbacks took them away from us for 5 months. After such a long inactivity 3 games a week he cannot manage. He was fundamental with Roma and with Sassuolo.”
