Marc Marquez: anger at Honda behind the smiles
“I had the time of my life,” smiling Marc Marquez told Dazn immediately after the MotoGp French Grand Prix, which ended with a crash after a great fight for second place with Jorge Martin. The Catalan rider emphasized his good performance on his return to the track after his long stop due to injury, with a podium finish faded only by overconfidence on the penultimate lap.
Behind the smiles, however, Marc Marquez sent another harsh signal to Honda: “I said it in the box that I’m well prepared, I rode like I haven’t in a long time, but we can’t go on like this for the whole race. We tried with the hard front tire, without having tried it we took it into the race and that allowed us to try to make the result, but playing these cards involves risks.”
Marc Marquez expects “things to come from Japan,” and explained that the Kalex chassis is not enough: “It is not the solution. I will prepare as much as I can for the next races, but I hope they also prepare as much as they can in Japan,” are the words reported by Corsedimoto.
