Stefano Bandecchi, new mayor of Terni, puts Ternana up for sale
The other day in a radio interview he assured that he would not leave the football club despite being elected mayor of Terni. Yesterday, however, on the day of his inauguration as first citizen, Stefano Bandecchi announced that Ternana will have to be put up for sale, because municipal regulations do not allow one to be at the same time, due to conflict of interest, mayor of the city and owner of the soccer team concessionary for the use of the municipal stadium. Bandecchi is the owner of Nicolo Cusano University, which in turn is the sole shareholder of Ternana Calcio and therefore the concessionaire for the use of the Libero Liberati.
