Fernando Alonso tries to see the glass half full after seventh place in Barcelona: “There will definitely be an explanation about our performance but as soon as the race is over we still don’t have it. We have to see what happened, because it was probably our worst performance from our point of view, but even in a difficult weekend we scored more points than Ferrari, and we lost points to Mercedes, but we hope to recover them in Canada.”
“All the work you do off the track, with the progress of the car, will always be important in such a tight championship. Mercedes brought a big update to Monaco and here, we will have something for Canada and Silverstone, so I am calm.”
