Paolo Maldini leaves AC Milan
Milan has made official the farewell of Paolo Maldini. The news, which had already been in the air for several hours, left quite a surprise in the Rossoneri circles.
“AC Milan announces that Paolo Maldini concludes his tenure at the Club, effective June 5, 2023. We thank him for his contribution over the years, with Milan’s return to the Champions League and winning the Scudetto in the 2021/22 season. His responsibilities will be assigned to an integrated team that will work closely with the first team coach, reporting directly to the CEO,” reads the note issued by the Rossoneri club.
