Mugello, Pecco Bagnaia takes FP2: positive return for Bastianini
After setting the 16th fastest time in the first free practice session of the Italian GP, Pecco Bagnaia redeemed himself in a big way by getting the best time in FP2 in 1:45.436, ahead of Marco Bezzecchi and Alex Rins distant 63 and 81 thousandths respectively.
In fourth place was Brad Binder, who was ahead of Jorge Martin and the returning Enea Bastianini. Completing the ten riders qualified directly for Q2 were Johann Zarco, Marc Marquez, Aleix Espargarò and Luca Marini.
