MotoGP, Sachsenring: Johann Zarco mocks Marc Marquez in first free practice
Team Pramc centaur Johann Zarco set the fastest time in the first free practice of the German Grand Prix at the Sachsenring.
In a session marked by the rain, the French rider mocked Marc Marquez, recording a time of 1’20″702, distancing the Spaniard (1’20″854) by more than a tenth. In third position is the Aprilia of Aleix Espargaró, then the Ducatis of Alex Marquez and Jorge Martin.
Fabio Quartararo is sixth despite a crash, followed by Brad Binder’s KTM. Closing out the top ten are three Italians Pecco Bagnaia (eighth), Fabio Di Giannantonio (ninth) and Marco Bezzecchi (tenth).
