Pecco Bagnaia enjoys pole at Sachsenring: “It’s not easy to overtake here”
Pecco Bagnaia’s words after the pole position
Pecco Bagnaia took pole position in qualifying for the German Grand Prix at the Sachsenring circuit. For the Ducati rider this is the third consecutive pole position of the season, as well as the fifteenth in his career in the premier class, joining a MotoGp legend like Wayne Rainey.
The world leader spoke this way at the end of qualifying: “I wanted to stop earlier in the first run, but of 4 or 5 laps they only counted me one because there were so many yellow flags, in the second run the same. There were complicated conditions, but we worked well and I am happy. It’s not easy to overtake here, the pole is important.”
“We will have to figure out which tires to use, because this morning we couldn’t try the medium front and that could be a problem,” he lamented ahead of Sunday’s race.
