Jorge Martin won the German GP, the seventh round of the MotoGP season, mocking Pecco Bagnaia by just 64 thousandths.
At the Sachsenring, in a race in which Marc Marquez (injured in the warm-up) did not take part, the Spanish rider of the Ducati Pramac team put on a beautiful duel with the world champion who, thanks to a slight contact on the last lap, had to settle for second place ahead of Zarco, for an all-Desmosedici podium. Bezzecchi and Marini fourth and fifth. Bagnaia still maintained the lead in the world standings with 160 points and 16 ahead of Martìn himself.
