Brescia, Bilan introduces himself: ‘New challenge’

Pallacanestro Brescia announces that it has reached a two-year agreement with Croatian center Miro Bilan, who last season played in the Greek league and Basketball Champions League with the Peristeri jersey. The 1989-class player, already seen in Italy with the Dinamo Sassari jersey for 2 1/2 seasons, averaged 12.6 points and 8.3 rebounds in the league and 11.4 points with 7.1 rebounds and 2.6 assists in the BCL. Miro decided to accept Brescia’s proposal and become for all intents and purposes one of the new pawns at coach Alessandro Magro’s disposal.

“I am very happy,” said Miro Bilan, “and glad to join Pallacanestro Brescia. After winning the Italian Cup last season, the club and myself have the ambition to return to the top 4 clubs in Italy and gain access to a European cup. I am happy to return to Italy and look forward to measuring myself with new challenges.”
